Don't buy it, look for something thats atleast 2000, or older. 150,000 even for a Toyota is alot, unless you can get it for under 1,000 dollars go for it.
This is kind of embarasing but i had a 1989 camery four 4 years .I only changed the oil in it 1 time.Isold it with 240,000 mi. on it & I put 100,000 mi. on it but when i sold it , it was still running strong.I highly recomend these cars.
depends how much they want for it. i happen to own a 4-cylinder 1993 Toyota Previa Van that sits 7-8 people and it has 255K miles with the original motor and its still runs really good. Toyota's are pretty good cars, if u take care of them, they can last up to 300K miles or more. it all depends on the price and the condition its in. What i like most about Toyota's is that they dont break down too much.
It could go another 100,000 if it has been well maintained. Find a an independent Toyota specialist mechanic, have him check it out, and plan to spend a little on maintenance. No 15-year old car will do well if it's neglected.
