Default What kind of toyota supra should i buy?
i wanna get a toyota supra but i really want to modifie the car maybe even 1500 HP i dont know which one to get the stock no turbo, single turbo or twin turbo someone help me please i dont know what to do i am willing to pay 75k just on buying the car and also modifing it remember i want it stock

there is no point of making it 1500hp unless you are going to make it a permanent drag car. 1500hp as a daily drive you will probably wrap it around a tree.































go for the single or twin turbo. because you will be changing the turbo out anyway so you may as well have stock ones there to use.

only a MkIV (1993-2002), with the 2JZ-GTE engine is a candidate. the present cost of a 1400HP kit is $40,000 plus a base car, plus suspension upgrades, so you'll need $100,000 cash

I have a 91 turbo that needs finished! You can make it what you want. It has the 7M-GTE engine. Let me know. If not this one, you should probably be looking for a 93-02 twin turbo. Make sure it has the 2JZ Engine in it. As for the horse power, 1500 will kill you. If not literally, it will kill your wallet. As a dialy driver, you will be replacing clutches left and right, probably go through a few transmisisons, and you will have to replace tires almost monthly because you won't be able to control it leaving a stop light or stop sign without burning the rubber off.































I'm serious about the 91 though.

i'd go with the twin turbo. it's the only way you'd be able to get the car at that much hp.

1998 was the last year the Supra was made. Most of the big HP Supra's are single turbo.
