what would cause a harmonic balancer to keep going out on a 1996 toyota corolla?

i have a 1996 toyota corolla with about 109, 400 miles on it. the car is maintained wonderfully as far as oil etc.

I recently replaced the harmonic balancer and within one day of having the car back it is making the same noise it was with the other bad harmonic balancer.

What would cause this to go out again after just fixing it within 24-48 hours ago?

the harmonic balancer should not go bad to start with they might crack I would take it back to whoever did it and tell them to make it good it's probably a pulley anyway not the balancer

ive been working on all types of cars for pretty much 30 yrs and ive seen two bad ones....first thing i woul d do is have it towed some where and have someone whos knows fix it right.... or check it out anyways.... but the only thing i can think of is it wasnt done right or you have a internal problem like a crank shaft is why i think you might want someone else checking it
