The '91 Camry has no performance parts for the 4 cylinder or V6 engine. The only thing you could do is a universal intake or an exhaust- those by themselves are worth maybe 3-5 hp- meaning it won't do anything for the performance of your car but it will perform a depletion of funds in your wallet. If you don't want to be a poser, might I suggest a 3SGTE swap? That's the twin cam turbo engine used in the 1988-1993 Celica All-Trac turbo and the 1991-1996 MR2 turbo. It's good for 200hp from the factory and can really make yor Camry a fast car. If the cost is too high, consider a non-turbo 3SGE upgrade. Your engine (if you have a 4 cylinder) is a 3SFE. The 3SFE is a single cam whereas the 3SGE is a twin cam. The 3SGE is worth an extra 30 hp alone. This engine was used on the 1986-1989 Celica GT-S and it should fit without much modifications. Personally, I would just leave it stock, but everyone has an opinion.
Going faster doesn't make your car a performance machine but bigger brakes and a wheels and suspension upgrades will. That's where this car will shine. Many of the 1988-89 Celica components will work here so check with a Toyota dealer on stock parts to give you an indicator; then take that info to a performance shop.
