Default Do you have a Toyota FJ Cruiser?
What are your experiences with them.































How is the gas mileage and what are some of the good and bad things about them.































I really love the look and heard they had decent gas mileage for an SUV.































Opinions? Love? Hate?































Getting a new car soon and am really considering them.

Hubby is a car fanatic (car magazines, etc.)































The Toyota FJ Cruiser has gotten mixed reviews in car magazines.































Usefulness as a vehicle is questionable compared to others in the same price range. Gas mileage sucks he says. It does have pretty good off-road capability. Not particularly roomy unfortunately. Only has two doors.































Hubby would recommend a Forerunner (a bit more expensive) or a Nissan Xterra vs. the FJ Cruiser. If you're really looking at gas mileage, you should check out a RAV 4.

my good friend just got one, he loves it































i love it! i want one to but I'm not as rich as him.































it gets decent gas mileage for the performance it has. nice interior. looks weird but in a good way. good sound system































if you can afford one unlike me i would get one.

I don't know if 'love' is the right word, but I'd go with 'like'. Gas mileage is not great. In fact, I wouldn't even qualify it as good.































It's a solid vehicle with a well-proven drivetrain that should last for a very long time.































The biggest drawback for driveability is the rear side visibility. There is a large area with no windows that annoys me.

I agree with what the first girl said, but it has 4 doors. The other two fold out once the first ones are open.
