Default 1996 toyota tacoma? good vehicle? expensive, should i buy?
im looking at a 1996 tacoma, it has 119,000 miles and there asking for 15,000$ or best offer, canadian money that is. And theres another add for a 1996 tacoma with 135,000km for 13500$ or best offer, are these over priced? is a tacoma a good quality truck? HELP PLEASE

i have an 03 tacoma with 80k miles. i got screwed at a dealership with price but the vehicle itself is very reliable. i got it a year ago with with 45k miles and now its got 80k miles. all i have done since ive owned it is replace brake pads and routine oil changes.

Looks a bit over-priced. Try to get it lower if you can otherwise look around in other car magazines, I am sure with luck you will get a better car with considerably lower price. Patience is a virtue.Good luck.

toyotas last forever. i had one with 400000 miles on it and sold it. still see it running around everywhere. id go for it. not very great on gas, but saves you in the end . and yes, thats way over priced for a 96'. i sold mine for 1500. I know the guy who owns it, has NO problems at all with it. i put a clutch in it once and never seince.
