Smaller wheels will cost a lot more that $200 next!

Torque and HP cannot tell what Toyota's power is as weight ratio, build and other things give especially 22R engine more torque then most 6 cylinders. One of best engines ever. For 200.00 put smallest tires possible on even if used. Do not go below 15" as you will lose footprint.and have safety issues.

first of all, 22R and Torque dont belong together, because the 22r only had around 90-110 horsepower rating from the factory! the only thing i know to tell you is try a cold air intake, and a header! you can Ebay these for maybe just a little over 200 bucks! the little tire idea will not increase you torque at all, it will just make the truck slower on the top end! it will be a little faster off the line though! good luck with your upgrades, there are not many aftermarket options for the 22r however www.lcengineering.com makes a AWESOME selection of stuff for this engine!!!!! just be ready to fork out more than 200 bucks!

few things...msd system for better spark to give more torque in mid range...exhaust for high end torque and power....better clutch for better transmision grip to give out more efficient power....an intake....headers.....better airflow means a better breathing engine....try a aftermarket cam....get itbs(or makunies side drafts).....mill down the head and port polish for high compression for more power and torque...get a lsd kit...power to both wheels at once is better then one going to two ..or get a turbo.....just like the 22ret from the late 80s...
