nope, you dont have to adjust anything, a front differential drop would be nice, although it is not nessessary, as with any susupension lift its going to put cv boots in a bind, that is unless you drop the front crossmember! I have a 02 tacoma with a 3inch suspension, and it works fine, I installed a front differential drop (1"), and put in a set of 1" lift springs and had 4" suspension total...this is NOT good idea at all! upper ball joints bind, cv boots last about 3months, and the actual axle (when flexed) hits the housing that the cv joint is in! I've installed tons of 3" spacers and add-a-leaf's in many tacoma's and I haven't had any trouble yet! pro-comp makes a good kit also, they have one with aluminum strut spacers that DONT require a spring compressor (if you dont have much experience with struts go with this kit!) and a add-a-leaf in the rear for about 180 bucks off ebay! if your truck is a xtra cab or a double cab, you have a little more play since you have the whole swing bearing thing going on there! but no issues with the transfer case up to 6"! Good luck with the kit! you should be able to clear at least 33" tall tires on factory rims....FYI
