So i have a 1984 Toyota pickup and im looking to get a little bit more horse power out of it. What..
...can i do? Because the 84 Toyota pickup engine is only a 4 liter it doesn't have more horsepower im just looking for some bolt on power or mod's i can do to get a little extra out of it. I was thinking about a cold air intake but i dont think you can do that to a carborated engine.
If you want to go fast, do not try and do it in a pickup. I know this isnt useful, but i take you didn't buy the pickup to go fast in the first place? Then buy yourself a Toyota Mr2 Gti. Cheap and fast, it is impossible to go faster for less.
There are a lot of things you can do to add horse power. First buy some after market chips most of the time you can hook them into the wire harness. New Muffler to increase/decraese back pressure. I guess you could put in a turbo charger But unless you do a power train swap or something major dont expect to much increase. this is a really cool site to check out. http://www.yourhotcar.com/product/li...formance_Parts
