my car will be trashed away cuz of airbags cost too much!!?

i got in accident with this one lady and it was her fault































she didnt even turn her headlights on such a dark street where streetlight is not even working. i saw no lights or reflection coming and decided to make a turn then while i was turning































BAM- she freaking struck me without even braking or anything































my car did like freaking whirwind spinning































my car is pretty ok for such a big accident but































3 airbags popped out and just fixing the airbags will cost more than































my car price!!! insurance company will trash my car away and































give me the money of car according to the blue book































and how GAY all this is































i baraly got to drive my lovely car and it will be trashed away































because of this some lady that was breaking the law































ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh































what a waste of energy + money + time































im so sad...































there is nothing i can do about my car besides trashing it away































right?... T-T

Normally your insurance company will allow you to use your payout to buy the car back from them. As its a written off car, It'll be cheap. Ten use the remainder of the money to fix what you can. Maybe drivers side airbag only? The 1st step is to call your insurance company and make sure you have any paperwork/information you need.

I guess fixing an air bag system would cost around 8K to 10K (parts and labor), you have to change the sensors, the wiring, the computer that controls the system and the bags, which include the bags themselves, the exploiting system and the coverings. The law mandates to have them working and being so expensive, you'll have to define if it is worth fixing them.
