front of engine? engine will crank no start ,, no fire from coil,, but has pulse at injectors,,, i just preformed a head job , and all timing marks are alining up right ,,















92 lexus I found a one wire sensor behind the alt looks like a knock sensor ,, it not in the head ,had those off ,,looks like it might be a igniter never messed withone before ,,, I'm normally a gm / ford mechanic for 30 years ... about to pull my hair out , i told the girlfriend not to buy it ,, but u know women ,,,,,,,??????

crank sensor is part of the head. I don't know which year you are talking about, but in some cases, the cams can be correct, but the ignition timing still be wrong..
