the 2007 vue v6 has a honda 3.5 liter and a honda transmission , plus the 100k warranty is nice .

but the rav is a nice little suv ,

a 255 horsepower awd vue will have more power and use more fuel ,

if you ar looking at a 4 cylinder suv go with the rav

Saturn comes with a Honda engine, the leader in reliability. The Honda CRV is also a nice SUV in the segment, but do avoid the Ford Escape. The Saturn has a longer warranty than the Toyota and includes anti-corrosion and roadside assistance, avaliable OnStar, is much cheaper (especially when you add on all the options), more standard options, and looks like its from this planet. Saturn, along with GM has changed thier values and it really shows. They took almost all the money out of marketing and put it into development to make better vehicles. Last year Toyota had the most recalls, but the media "failed" to notice since millions would stand against them because of thier reputation. These days reputation is nothing, technology advances so fast it cant keep up. For ex: three years ago GM was one of the worst companies, now they have the most top-rated vehicles, and the quality/reliability surpasses Toyota. Honda is still on top of the reliability ratings. Ford also had more recalls than GM and DaimlerChrysler combined, for reasons like exploding engines and wheels falling off. Here is a quote from the Washington Posts review of the Toyota CAmry "one of which is the Chevrolet Malibu, which in my real-world driving experience has been every bit as good and reliable as the much-ballyhooed Camry but has been maligned primarily because it is a Chevrolet". Oddly enough that was an '04 Malibu VS the totally redisigned '07 Camry. Common problems with Toyotas are plastic rattling until it falls off. People then complain that when they take it to the dealer to be fixed they just say "The cars are made with so much plastic its practically impossible to fix" GM is also the worlds fastest growing manufacturer, and that dosent happen by accident. I also see way more '07 VUE's, so it says people are buying them.

I worked at a Toyota dealership a few years ago, and the engines the RAV 4 (and other Toyota cars) uses are crap. Bown gaskets and cracked blocks are common in RAV 4s under 5 years old. The new ones still use the same engine. Go with the Vue.

theyre almost equal, honda engine on the vue, if it was gm, that would be a no brainer.y ou have to admit , rav4 is a lot better looking than the vue. 269 hp on the rav4 v6 while 24X on the vue?

my cousin just donated his rav4 with 320k miles. so reliabilty is not an issue with the rav4 like all toyotas.
