Default Sound coming from back of 92 toyota camry?

I hear a bumping sound that sounds like golf balls rolling around in my trunk when i'm driving straight down the road. There doesn't seem to be any reason for the sounds. Any idea what this could be? My car only has 76k on it and has been well maintained/no collisions.

This can't be good...have you checked the spare tire wheel well for any objects that could be rolling around? Also, could it be worn wheel bearings at the rear? Cos there are practically no forces to push things around when ur driving down a straight road...

There could be something in your gas tank, or something loose in your suspension. You should have a professional look at it, just in case.

With only 76k this car should have a lot of miles left in it, and is a lot less complicated than the newer ones.

have your toyota dealer inspect the rear sway bar bushings...as the bushings wear the rear sway bar will "rattle" in them causing the noise. this is the most common cause. can be repaired usually withing $150.00cdn. the other cause maybe upper strut mounts.
