Well my friend has a 98 rav 4 four cylinder. Aside from the lack of power, he boasts gas mileage is incredible (and he does not drive it nicely). And that thing went forever despite being driven under the hardest conditions until he was rear ended and it was totaled. Back seat is a little cramped, but thats when you have 3 19 and 20 year olds cramped back there and one in the passanger.

So a summary:

Pros: Awsome gas mileage

Able to take one hell of a beating

Crazy reliable

Cons: No power, although if you get the v6, that should not be an issue, however gas milegae not be so great with the v6

Not alot of room for 5 full sized adults
