Default Toyota Blacktown agent said if you are not buying the car i am not going to waste my time on demo...

...drive? Afterwards he said we don't have a demo vehicle available. I mean seriously what was he thinking? He could have just said "We don't have a demo vehicle". When I was leaving I said "I can't do a deal here then". To that he replied "We are happy to not sell it to you". When I was leaving he said just 10 minutes from here is Castle hill Toyota go there. So did anyone of you had same or similar experience at the same or different dealership? And in this situation what should I have done.

Sounds like he is a real jerk!

You should gather your thoughts, put them on paper and create a well- written complaint letter and send it to the top of that company.

Include the guys name, the time & day you went there and how you felt when leaving.

Its ok to say your feeling were hurt.. this would hurt anyone's feelings.

Don't let that guy get to you... what goes around comes around. I can't imaging that someone like that (no tact, doesn't care about another human beings feelings, completely lacking in civility) is very happy.

I was at a Honda dealership in Port Charlotte, Florida with my mother, trying to buy her a new Honda CRV. After about an hour and a half of their questionable tactics, we didn't agree with their final price. They wouldn't even go below sticker. We decided to leave, which took another 15 minutes as they had the keys to her car we were using for a trade in, and they wouldn't give them back until I threatened to get the police involved. On our way out, a salesman we weren't even dealing with followed us, literally screamed at us for wasting everyones time, and told us to get out and never come back. I told him calmly that would not be a problem.

When I got home, I reported this incident to Honda's corporate customer service line, and the Better Buisness Bureau. It only took a week before I got a written apology from the manager of that dealership. He asked if there was anything else I wanted, so I wrote back demanding a letter of apology from the salesman himself, and received that shortly after.

It didn't do anything for me, and legal action would have been way to costly to bring, and likely get me nothing. But at least it was something. You can do the same, but aside from that, there isn't much else you can do. Don't go back there again. Any dealership that won't work with you doesn't deserve your business, and any dealership in this current economy that turns potential customers away probably won't be in business for very long.

Go to a different dealership, or consider a different make.

There are plenty of good and bad dealerships out there. Just go to another one.

If you want to look like you are interested in buying a car go in looking like you can afford it. You will get a lot better response from salesmen that way. If you want to buy a $30k car it wouldn't hurt you to put on a nice polo shirt and at the very least some nice jeans.

So the customer service is redefined

Is good customer service has anything to do with your clothes/appearance/personality/color/race.......???

this arrogant moron shouldn't be spare, u should raise the matter with Toyota's concerned dept.

To my mind, a dealer is only a middle man who renders service on the behalf of a Company and in return enjoy a hefty commission.

Think about a person who comes from countryside, with hard-earned savings to buy a car..... it is possible that he/she is in his/her traditional/casual dress (unaware about the urban dressing sense)

Is it justified if he/she is not treated at par with a person who is well dressed(city) and going to buy the same car in the same amount!

Raise the issue and make a difference.....

Call the dealership during office hours and ask for their customer relations manager. Don't go into any detail til you have the customer relation's manager's name. Explain what happend very calmly and who the salesman was.
