Kilometres a a measurement in the metric series of measurements. Where the Imperial system (miles) uses arguably antiquated systems of measure like ounces (28 grams), pounds (454 grams or 16oz), yards (3 feet), miles (1760 yards), in the metric system, everything is divisible by ten. 1 kilometre = 1,000 metres = 10,000 centimetres = 100,000 millimetres. The metric system makes for much easier math, if nothing else.
The conversion for kilometres per hour (KM/H) to miles per hour (MP/H) is 1 KM (or KM/H) = 0.62 mile (or MP/H)
So, 140 KM/H x 0.62 = 86.8 MP/H
