The Supercharger lets more air into the engine which in turn gives you more horespower. It should not be to hard to remove but it depends on the type (ex. bolt on or not). Dont know how much it would cost though sorry

The early Previas were a nice (looking) design, but were painfully underpowered, and got lousy fuel mileage because people always had the go pedal against the floor.

The supercharger was supposed to cure the problem. You will be sorry if you remove it. Fix the problem if there IS a problem. It COULD be that an adjustment or tightening of something will do the trick.

Check it out with a trusted mechanic.
