Default Can you fit a full sized futon in a prius liftback? ?

getting a carshare car to help my friend move a futon; do i need to spring for the mini-van, or can i fit it into the pack of a prius with the seats folded down?

Turns out the answer is yes! I fit the futon in without even having to tie the trunk closed. You can fit a lot with those back seats folded down!

NO!

The Toyota Prius is too small for a "full-sized futon".

It's even too small for 5 people.

The Prius does have a 6-feet-long flatbed cargo space once you fold down the rear seats (pretty darn good for a car of its size), but I doubt you can fit a futon in there. Heck, I can't even fit a futon in the back of my old Jeep Cherokee.

Even in a minivan you probably can't fit a futon and be able to close the rear hatch. Your best bet would be to use a pickup truck with the tailgate down, and strap it down securely.
