The TRD package is a sporty type package, it will give you the decals, heavy duty starter package, with keyless enty, and other extra features- but it comes in both 4 and 2wd- any other questions?

Off Road Package (TRD) is an optional package on a 2x4 or 4x4. On both it gives the driver off road shocks, skid plates, higher suspension(ground clearance) and a locking or limited slip rear differential and tow hooks (for pulling yourself out of muddy situations).On the 4x4 it gives it more power to get out of stick situations, on a 2x4 it will help you some but not as much as if it is 4x4. Some like the look of the higher suspension but don't want to pay for 4x4, so they just get the Off Road Package.
