Default Toyota 1991 MR2 coilovers?

I have a 1991 mr2 and upgrading suspension to coilovers. I'm planning on putting 17in rims. I've seen brand names of Megans, Teins, and etc. Prices range from $850 to $1200. I dont know brand names but my budget is less than $1000 and need to know which is the best brand for my price range. Thank you.

Buy D2, K-Sport, or Megan Racing. They are all very similar and don't differ much from each other until you start looking at brands like Tein, JIC, or Tanabe. You can usually find them for under 1K.

My bro is using K-Sports on his mr2 and I know they have a slotted upper knuckle bolt hole and helps a lot for Camber adjustment they also have the upper pillow ball camber plates. They are very firm and like the feel of them Its a bit harsh ride for the street but I personally like it. I heard D2's have the slotted bolt hole also but i don't know if Megan's have them. ( I have D2's and like them also but I have a Civic, differnt suspension so rides differently.)

Have you looked at www.hopupracing.com they carry many brands and have decent prices. Hope this helps.
