Ok, ha ha. Since you've had both, you are probably a better expert than myself.
People are generally very pleased with their Toyotas. I understand they are a very high quality car and reliable as you'll find anywhere.
As far as money, again, you'll have to be the judge. I did, however, learn something from my pastor when i was in seminary. He shared with us that he never bought a new car because he didn't want to seem ostentatious, so he would always try to find a car that was two years old and had very low miles on it.
That way, the original owner took the biggest hit on depreciation driving it off the dealer lot, and you get a flawless low-mileage car that costs almost half of what a new car costs.
I enjoy driving quasi-classic cars, so I never took his advice.
