It can easily go double that if you maintain it. It only "breaks" from neglect. treat it like a baby, handle with care, and don't beat it to death. Change the oil every 3000 miles; watch your fluid levels, and keep good tires on it. Also, don't loan it out to jerks who try to rev it as high as possible or see how fast it will go.

Act accordingly as suggested by Huba. Very wise, but the problem in this world is no body wants to listen anything from any one. Keep an eye on the belts, always change filters when getting it serviced, examine brake pads and shoes, discs. If you care for your car it will go a very long way. Look after her and she will look after you, she will never let you down on the road.

oil cahnges filters and timing belts is what you have to worry about keep a timing belt replace at 65000 miles and every 65000 after that oil every 3000 and run only midgrade or premium gas in it toyota specifies midgrade gas for this car
