im sorry. im not sure what your brother is into but the yaris is a good gas car but not something i would have wanted to be seen in when i was a teenager. might be cheap and good on gas but its tiny. I think he might appreciate another vehicle like a civic or something. still good on gas but nat as girly. dont mean to offend you but its not a car i would buy for myself or my son. Does he know that you are looking at a yaris for him? if hes cool with it then hell yeah andget it but you might want to ask him first. If its a surprise you might not get the response you hoped for.

Yes a Yaris is cheap and practical, but if I were a teenage boy, I wouldn't want to be caught DEAD in a Yaris! (However, I'm a grown woman, and I wouldnt buy one :P )

If you are REALLY wanting a Toyota, buy him the corolla.. The 2009's aren't that bad looking.. almost the same stats as the CIV..
