You need to adjust the idle of your car.

it could be a lot of things, especially at high miles and we cant really analyze the symptoms from just this info. More analysis must be done on the car rather than just guessing and throwing parts at it. The engine must be looked at and some basics checked like fuel pressure(pump is inside the fuel tank-not easy) VF voltage feedback gives an indication of how the injectors are being driven(lean/rich??). Charging system output voltage--the warning lights don't always come on when discharging. Basic idle and timing settings and inspection of the throttle sensor. MIL codes. A lot of more possibilities not mentioned. IE: dont waste your money guessing-get it looked at by the people who know your car- anything else may give a lesser result and inferior parts. Granted, it is expensive to have your car repaired, but so is towing and inconvenience when you are stranded in a undesirable place like the middle of the I-90 bridge. SB
