do i need to replace it or just leave it that way

If the crack is between the air filter box and the throttle body then replace it. If it is before the air filter you can just leave it but watch the ones after the filter as they could crack soon too and a crack after the filter not only lets the engine suck in dirty air but if your car has a MAF meter/sensor and the crack is after that the computer won't "see" all of the air going in and will cause the engine to run poorly and lean which could damage it.

its very common on the u.s bilt machines due to a different compound.....use duct tape in meantime....but replace asap.
