Default 2001 Toyota 4runner tires and rims?

My 4runner has 225/75/15 tires & rims. My friend has 245/75/17 that he wants to sell. Do they fit on my truck?? They both have 6 logs but I don't know anything about cars so before I get them, I wanted to make sure.

the 15 an 17 #'s refer 2 the rim size. they will fit tho. the tires might scrub aginst the fender well, but nuttin 2 major just dnt make really sharp turns. also wenevr ur uping ur rim an tire size, its gonna throw offf ur ur speedometer, not by mutch, just a lil 5mph at the most so just b carful wit them, but all an all it will fit

depend's on what they came off of and what style they are. one way to tell is to measure from center of lug hole tocenter of hub hole on wheels. in theory if they measure the same then they should fit. however be sure that they don't hit you fender's anywhere. ask a tire factory.
