Default Reason for a stump noise under my 4 runner?

I have a 4 runner 2002. It is in very good mechanical condition after 178000 miles of mostly highway driving. Very often I hear a "stump" noise after I release the brake pedal to get moving again after stops at traffic lights. The dealer only lubricates my drive shaft and in other occasion did took it apart and adjusted it but the noise continues. What is wrong?

The noise I hear is like small "boom" it is my best word to describe it and I found it in a dictionary of different car noises

Default

whats the heck is a stump noise . do tree stumps make noise.? suggestion ........ use description of noises that are universal to everyone, squeal, rattle , growl, clunk , ect. ect. OK where is noise coming from , front , back, right side, left side, underneath. some brake material can make unusual noises depending on conditions such as weather exp. rain can cause brakes at times to make a noise like wetting your finger and rubbing it on a mirror , noise gets loader as friction gets greater.
