Default 2006 Toyota 4Runner for first highschool car?

15 year old guy.

getting a suv in a few weeks liked these 4Runners.

Parents budget around 16-17 thousand went on cars.com and searched and found a few 2006 Limited V6 and V8s with under 50,000 miles.

do they hold up to Toyotas Reliablitity?

what do you think the insurance would be?

and any other input about the truck and past experiences.

thanks!

I wish my parents had a 16-17 thousand dollar budget cause im driving a 1982 Dodge Ram, lol. 4runners are desent SUVs, but i would go for a 1997-2002 4Runner. But if you want a real man's SUV you would get a Jeep Wrangler or a Jeep Commander. Wranglers would be best for you, their cool, fun, cheap, easy to maintain, reliable, and chicks dig 'em, but there really dangerous to drive, espacally for inexperianced drivers. The Commander is also very reliable and a lot bigger than both the Wrangler and the 4Runner. But if i could pick my first car i would get a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500, lol.

Good Luck!

You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here - carinsurance.deep-ice.com

first, you should collect some resource by searching the relevant keyword in search engine,if you got good luck there ,then your problem solved.however,if you are not able to find the ideal answer by doing that, here http://www.CarInsuranceTip.info/free-car-insurance.htm is the resource i recommend.
