Ok, I drive a prius and i love it. Although almost every other day it seems I get ridiculed from my friends that prius are gay and that im gay. Well that might be true, but there are tons of straight prius drivers. How do you guys think this sterotype began?

probably from the fact that the trend really got started in california, especially around san Fransisco.

i dont know. probably because people that buy them are enviromentalist concerned. but also probably because with the money you spend you could drive something so much nicer. like if you concered for the envirment fine. but i guess if you drive one you arnt really interested in the way the car drives. becasue that car has no feel at all. no steering feel. you brake a little bit in that and it slows down really wired. its not a drivers car lets say. but i guess ya cuz the car drives so bad and its ugly and expensive when you could drive lets say a tdi vw and get same if not better gas milage and drive wayyy better.

Hey, I drive one too and I'm not gay. I figure that people say it's gay because it is a "democratic car" lol which I'm not either. And democrats support gay people. And ya the Prius has no feel to it. Also if you look at the people who normally drive them, lets face it. I think I'm going to push it a little further though just for kicks and get some Walmart spinners on it, then lift it up a couple of inches (probably what that one guys civic looks like). Or else try to put a V8 in it and and show up some ricers.

Because gay people are generaly trendy and cutting edge. Gay people start most cool trends! Take it as a compliment.
