Probably.















But why?















Diesel is a nasty smelling,















black smoke producing,















filthy polluter that isn't much















better in grade than crude.















And these days it's more















expensive than octane petrol.















Can't see why you would















WANT any of those things.















But yeah,















you probably can get a diesel















engine for your toyota if you















really want one.

I don't know about other countries, but in the US, Toyota does not offer a diesel variation on any of their current offering of vehicles, including the Corolla. You may be able to change out the factory engine for a diesel one, but it probably isn't cost effective.































So in answer to your question, at least here in the US, no you can not have a manufacturer installed diesel engine in a 2009 Corolla.

No. They will not make and design a Diesel engine for $20,000+.































And if they do, I am sure you will not pay for it.
