My 2005 Camry 4 Cyl has been diagnosed by Big 10 Tires that the roaring noise I've been hearing on right front side for some time is a result of a bad bearing.















They recommended I buy the whole Front Hub Assembly since they don't have a press machine and now days nobody hardly has them.































They say they've pretty much gone the way of the Dodo!!!































Also they were kind enough to offer to replace all 4 shocks/struts and a front end alignment for a mere $1300.00 plus tax.!































Any advice guys buy just bearings or the whole deal?????

i would take it to toyota. it may save you in the long run. unless you drive on realy crappy roads or have a lot of miles on your camry it sounds a little fishy to me

if we talking front whell drive car yes replace cv joint /Front Hub Assembly about only way to really do it

This is a very common situation when people take their vehicle to places that are not properly equipped.Since they do not have press but would still would like to take your money,they came up with the LIE that presses are obsolete.Trying to sell you the whole hub assembly is nothing else but a rip off.I recommend that you take your vehicle to the nearest Toyota dealership and have a FACTORY TRAINED PROFESSIONAL take a look at your vehicle and determine what needs to be done to repair it.You"ll be surprised at what they have to say.Good luck.
