my landcruiser's air filter sign pops up when i rev it up to 4000 rpm?

Default my landcruiser's air filter sign pops up when i rev it up to 4000 rpm?
i have a landcruiser 2001 evreytime i rev it up to 4000 rpm a lilttle sign will pop up saying airfilter blocked. what does it mean and how can i fix it

a sensor is telling the ecu that the filter isn't sucking as much air in as it can so it tells you by illuminating the light....remove it and blow it off with an air hose or simply repplace the element.

your airfilter is filthy,a quick fix is to remove it,give it a firm but gentle slap on the side of the road,its amazing the amount of dust and debris that'll come out of it,keep gently but firmly slapping it till your happy theres not much dust left in it,or if you can go buy a new filter.































the reason the light is coming on is the engine is suffocating on the blocked filter,hence the warning
