'Check Engine' Light blinking in 2002 Toyota Camry. Certified Pre-Owned?

Default 'Check Engine' Light blinking in 2002 Toyota Camry. Certified Pre-Owned?
have a 2002 Toyota Camry which I purchased from a dealer. At purchase the car was a Toyota Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle. And I also got the Toyota Extended Care Platinum Coverage which is valid until 2010.































I now have the check engine light blinking and I am taking it to the Toyota Dealer tomorrow. And wanted to know if the Platinum Coverage would cover any issue that is causing the engine light to blink?

Unless you let the car run out of user maintained fluids, you should be covered. It is still the owners job to verify (oil, trans fluid, etc) are all where the should be.

There is a very large number of components that can set the check engine light.If the light is blinking as you say,it means that the vehicle is having a problem that needs to be checked out right away.And yes,Platinum coverage will take care of almost any component that is malfunctioning,unless it is caused by maintenance negligence.Other than that you should be ok.Good luck.
