the cyc head assy from a zze series corolla fitted with 1zzfe engine is the same assy as fitted to mrs or mr2 which also use 1zzfe the block is the same also but is australia we never had the zze231 series celica with a 1zzfe 1.6 all our celicas are fitted with 2zzge but the simple way to check this out is to either contact your local toyota parts dept and ask them to check the pncs on both models or locate a parts disc on the net and do the check i have checked the corolla and mrs part numbers as fitted to aust model they are the same cyc head and same inlet and exht rockers also the vvti controller is the same ie in simple terms they will interchange with no problem
