what do you think about them?















my 04 4runner gets 19 mpg in the city so they arnt bad on gas.

I have a '03 highlander I really like it very reliable.The MPG could be















better but it's to be expected.I bought it 18 months ago.

Nice small SUV that can run forever. More reliable than other models. Like all cars, get it checked out by a mechanic if used, and don't expect great MPG. I would look at a Landcruiser if siutable, they (straight 6 and v-8 engines) can around 15MPG and in the used market are a bargain.

Depends on what your buying it for. As a off road vehicle they are great, The independent suspension makes for a good ride on rough surface and they have great traction and take a beating. For every day they are tough on gas and low on power for hills but hold their value quite well. Good for lots of miles if took care of. Use to have a 95, Ex still driving it!

2003 and ups is one of the best SUVs made (according to consumer reports). Decent fuel economy. Good acceleration. And if you tow... a 5,000 lb tow rating.































FWIW...I read a while back that the 245 hp V6 (aluminum block), 4 spd auto was just as fast as the 235hp V8 (Iron block), 5 spd auto. And gets better fuel economy to boot.
