Default How often should a Toyota 4Runner have the following items performed?
I have the owners manual w/ manufactuer recommendations, but approximately and reasonably how often, under average conditions would a 1999 Toyota 4Runner need:































1) Brake fluid flush















2) Transmission fluid flush















3) Transfer case service















4) Power steering fluid flush

we recommend that all of those items be flushed or replaced (transfer case, rear differential and front differential... if you have a 4x4. if just 2 wheel drive, rear differential only)















flush it or replace it every 30K miles or 2 years. this is what we as techs do to our own cars and is what we recommend to our customers. i'm sure you won't find this information in any owners manual.
