How much will it cost to get my winters taken off my Corolla?
I need to bring my Corolla back to the dealer to get the winter tires switched form the rims to the summers. Do I have to get it done at the dealer & do I have to get "nitrogen" pumped into my summers. Will I save coin if I just get air instead?
id go to any tire store to have it done. tires wil need to be re balance so im guessing about 25 bucks. you dont have to use nitrogen if you just check your tires with a air gage more offen that cost about 2 bucks and 75 cents at any store with air
I find the used tire shops run by Mexicans offer the best price for mounting and balancing tires. The nitrogen is supposed to reduce weight as it is lighter than air, and reduces inertia, saving a cents in economy. Use plain air and save $80.
