It's a lot of miles for any car, but a camry is a good car and could handle more miles.

Not if the maintenance was done on a regular basis. Was the timing belt & tension er replaced, oil changes on time, Etc. My Mazda has 169.600 on it and it is purring like a kitten. But, I have had it since new and had performed all the scheduled maintenance on it my self on it. so depending on the above, No. If the above was not done,????? maybe, maybe not. I need more info for a better answer.

Toyota is WAY over rated. To understand why, open your favorite Internet Search page. Search for "Toyota Sludge", without the quotes. You will quickly understand why.

if its kept up well..it ok....and if you think about, most of the miliage could be highway miliage...

Are you thinking of purchasing this car? Like the others said, if it had been well maintained it should still give years of dependable service. Check service records and have the car inspected by someone who knows Toyotas. Regarding the sludge, it is caused by lack of oil changes. If the car has had it's recommended oil changes it should be fine.
