I have actually seen them selling for more than the same year Toyota Camry and about $1,000 less than a new toyota pickup. The price has really risen on those cars since the demand has went up.

They haven't announced the MSRP for the 2010 Prius yet, but expect it to start a bit above what the 2009 went for. The 2009 started at $22,000.

buy a better car that its so much better. Trust me a prius just doesn't go fast or have any feeling to it. If you are going spend that much money, get something awesome. When my parents bought their third Prius in 2006, it was like 25,000 fully loaded new.
