It's a great compact car, Gets good gas mileage, good safety ratings, lots of versatility in regards to configuration (3-door hatch, 5-door hatch and 4-door sedan) and not overly expensive. See what the incentives are in your area to compare price with a Corolla, especially if you're looking at one that is well equipped as you may find that the Corolla can be purchased for similar money, but overall, I think it is a solid choice.
