Can i make a 2500 mile trip in my 1995 Celica?

Default Can i make a 2500 mile trip in my 1995 Celica?
My car has 250,000 miles and it leaks little oil but i will fix that soon. Needs new struts and hocks which I am also going to raplce new brakes everything. Other than that it is still strong. Do you think it will make it (2500 mile that way and 2500 this way) need more info?

As long as you get those repairs done, I don't see why not. Celicas are good cars. Have fun on your trip.

I'm not reading the link, but...































If its electrical system and fuel system are in good working order, it will likely do fine. Any older car can throw a belt or something. I drive my 1995 VW on several hundred mile trips weekly, and don't expect trouble and don't get it. Keep the fluids full and changed. Get the parts you know you need (shocks, brakes) done before the trip. Be willing to spend a little. The alternative is usually a new car that will cost $3-$5 sitting in your driveway over the next year.

all of the things you are fixing ar the perishables and will wear in time, the motor itself is bullet proof. I have an '82 celica with over 600,000 kms on it and commute over 150 a da. I would have no problem trusting the car to make the trip, keep the revs about 2500 cruising and then all should go well
