its called the rav 4, not rave 4.































and i don't own a rav 4, but i'm sure people have had problems, i mean, not all cars are perfect.

There is no known serial problem being reported on Rav4 at this time.Other than regular wear and tear of brake pads.There has been a considerable number of people that complain about their brakes wearing out to fast,not only on Rav4 but on all other vehicles.The brake pads are no longer made of asbestos.therefore semi-metallic pads wear faster now.It is not uncommon anymore to see vehicles in need of brake service at 15k to 20k miles.I don't know if you are having any problems with your Rav4 brake system but if indeed you are,I am sure is an isolated case.Good luck

Consumer Reports indicates that the RAV4 has very good to excellent brakes since 2002. If you are having problems, you may want to check if any of the drivers are riding the brake pedal. Of course, if it is fairly new, you may be covered by a warranty. Do not confuse a shuddering motion with a problem during very hard braking. that's the ABS working as it should. The trick is to drive in a manner that you never need to use the ABS; that is, not to tailgate or drive too fast into curves.
