My Toyota Celica Turns off, how can I increase Gas to the car.?

Default My Toyota Celica Turns off, how can I increase Gas to the car.?
Hello,































I just got a used 1989 Toyota Celica and would like to know how I can increase gas to the engine. The car as a perfect engine but when I am driving it when I stop at lights or intersections sometimes the engine turns itself off. I think if I increase gas to the car when it is stop the engine should not turn off. I would appreciate any kind of help I can get.

Change your pressure regulator valve or take it in and have them change fuel trim. you might want to make sure that's the problem. you might be getting to much air or your muffler isn't plugged

just a thought but you might want to check for engine codes i know on mkIII supras you can jump the Te1 and E1 terminals using a wire and the check engine light will flash a code if there are any but i had something similar with my supra, turned out to be the throttle position sensor, didn't know where the throttle was so it didn't like to idle and would cut out when i stopped.
