I am getting a noise in my RX300 2001, everytime I put it in gear?

Default I am getting a noise in my RX300 2001, everytime I put it in gear?
I just my car inspected (Lexus RX300 2001) and it passed with no problem. However, I've been noticing that everytime I put my car into gear and go, it produces a noise similar to a worn cv-joint, and then it stops. I asked the mechanic if the joints and axel were good and he said yes. Any suggestions?

With a problem like this , i reccomend taking it to the dealer because it sounds serious.
