Default Leak in 1996 toyota tacoma?
ok, so i have some sort of leak on my 96' 4x4 tacoma, 3.4l v6. I think the fluid is green and is coming from some where around or above the front differential. Any ideas?

The green makes me thing coolant, im not a tuck person though. cars for the win.

anti freeze is green and it can leak from your Radiator, the file tank and from the area around the firewall of your truck, i.e. under the heater/ac fan box. This will run over and drop down on the transmission. So check the heater box area.

that's anti-freeze/coolant. just incase you don't know, anti-freeze and coolant are the same thing.















































they are very importat because they cool the engine and prevents it from overheating. if you keep letting it leak, you'll eventually run out of coolant, your engine will overheat and eventually your cause really expensive damage to it. so get a mechanic to find the leak and fix it pronto!

If you have antifreeze dripping on your front differential the cause is most likely a failing water pump. If it is the water pump you should be able to see antifreeze dripping down the block below the timing cover below the water pump. Of course any coolant leak is serious and you need to get it fixed before you overheat your engine. Make sure to keep an eye on coolant level too.

Sounds like the antifreeze is leaking out
