Default Toyota Four Runner. How good is it?
My friend offered me this car. Obviously its not in great shape but it's fixable and she saaid its 100% rideable lol Ummm this is going to be my 1st car if I accept. My bro in law is going to fix it up and try and make it loook better too ( he works with that). I just want to know if its a good car to start with and if I do have to spend money to fix it should I accept it and spend on it or just save up and buy another car that's in better shape.

thats a very good suv. it will last you a long time. what year is it? go for it as long as its a good price and has low mileage

1997 -2002 are good and 2003 and up are great as far as engines. I like the 97-2003 limited. before , 1996 was a V6 underpwered a bit for size and 1995 and below are lighter so they are a good suv for time it was in.

They are very good car, you have a very good friend that is willing to let you have it. The car have served your friend well and it will serve you very well too with proper maintenances you will have years of problem free!

4Runners are all pretty much good SUVs. It sounds like the one you are looking at is in pretty rough shape. I would suggest that you can probably find a nice one for less money than it will cost you to fix up a tired one.
