Default Is it worth to buy 09 toyota prius when 2010 prius is one month away.?
The problem is 2010 prius comes with lots of change compared to 09. i heard toyota has changed the total engine system in 2010 models also have more luxury than the other one. At the same time now toyota offers 0% financing for 09 Prius.Am totally confused,If i wait for 2010 models i wont get low finance rate,also cost $2000 more for the same trim. any suggestions

To be perfectly honest, don't buy into the hype-brids. Unless you want a car that puts out low emissions, the high up-front cost and minimal fuel savings make the economical concept pointless.































If you want a Toyota product, go with a Yaris or Corolla.















If you want fuel economy, go look at a Volkswagen TDI.















If you care for the environment, ride a bicycle, or take the bus for hybrids are nothing more than a marketing scheme.

personally i would go with the 09 because u would be getting practically wat u NEED for a lesser price. but the 2010 prius u'll get more (which is good) but u'll have to pay more. it depends on ur money and lifestyle, if u need the extra luxury and have the money go for the 2010 but if u have a limited amount of money go with the 2009. Either way its up to u! :-)

Wait for the '10. It coats a little more but gets better mileage, much more refined, and has better driving. It is totally new and improved. For only 2000 more it is worth it. Good luck!

For a $2,000 savings plus 0% financing, go for the 09 Prius. The new fuel economy numbers are not substantial enough to come close to making up a $2,000 difference, even if you don't count the savings on the finance charges.
