Default As a first car... (Please Help..)?
I wanted to go big with a Celica, but I saw the insurance rates and... *whistles* its off the charts lol. So im looking for a sleek looking, sub 05 model of 4 door cars. Im on craigslist now, but im at a lost about what model to search.. Also, please make sure the model is availible in manual transmission. Thanks guys. And girls.















for future reference, sub 05 means 05 and below

I just got a '04 Saturn Ion. Manual transmission, 4 doors, basic car, good mileage.

if you want to get something that will last and good on gas go with a honda accord or something like that or maybe a small suv

In my own experience I have always bought Toyotas , and have been buying toyota since 1974, and to date I have 5 toyota corollas 1 supra and 2 cressidas, they are fairly cheap to repair and its not very often they need repair , except for maintenace items, like brakes and oil changes , very good with insurance rates, but your looking for a 05 and up model I highly recommend the Corolla 4dr Plus Sport Package,., comes with spoiler and body skirts. And milage very impressive my corollas average 35- 40 miles per gallon on the highway. Hope this will help you

You'll get great gas mileage and great reliability with a 5 - 10 year old Corolla or Camry. Find one that's been well maintained and you won't regret it. I've owned 7 or 8 of them. Reasonable insurance rates, too.
