Default what kind of brake oil i should put in my toyota corolla 2001?
I saw a one dollar brake fulid dot 3 heavy duty at one dollar store. will it work? my brake fluid is at lower level. ?

If it meets DOT 3 requirements, it is okay. There's hardly any brake fluid on the market that doesn't meet these requirements.

the brake fluid drops as the pads wear so most likely you need brakes

DOT 3 is all that it is required regardless of where you buy it.There is couple of things you should check since the fluid level is low.You should check for brake pads wear,and if there are any brake fluid leaks.There has to be a reason for the brake fluid level to be low.Good luck
