what should i set my valves to on a 22r toyota?

Default what should i set my valves to on a 22r toyota?
i set the valves on 4 & 6 but still a little noise what do i need to set them on to stop it

If you over tighten the valve cover on this engine it will sound like it has loose valves. With the engine running loosen each of the 4 valve cover nuts a little and see if the noise stops. If it does, leave the nut there. Do not set the valves tighter than specification! A little noise is better than burnt valves.

set them with the engine hot exhast 012" and intake 008" also check the thrust bearing on the cam shaft original was plastic replacement is a 2 piece so you dont have to remove the cams just break the old ones with a screw driver good luck
